Bainbridge blotter | Don’t come back

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

THURSDAY, MARCH 1

11:25 a.m. Commodore Options School and Ordway Elementary School were placed on lockdown after police were called to the Ordway campus in response to the presence of a suspicious man.

Upon arrival, police said “multiple” school staff members were pointing out the man, who they stopped to question.

The man, 36, of Bainbridge, said he was on campus to see the daughter of a woman he used to date. He was told he could not be there and was trespassed from that, and all other, school campuses on Bainbridge.

He said he understood and would not return.

The lockdown was lifted.
