Hundreds of BHS students walked out of class at 10 a.m. as part of a day of national protest for improved school security.

The walkout lasted about 17 minutes, in honor of the 17 people who died a month ago in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
