The Island Film Group will gather to screen a classic Western film at the club’s next meeting in January.

The group will show the 1953 classic, “The Naked Spur.” Directed by Anthony Mann, the movie stars James Stewart, Janet Leigh and Robert Ryan. A cowboy turned bounty hunter aligns with a couple of questionable characters to chase a fugitive across the West for the reward money.

After the film, there will be a discussion led by group members. The screening is free. For more information, visit krl.org.
