Library U presents the next installment of Collecting – The Unruly Passion at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 24 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
The session presents “Herb and Dorothy,” a documentary film from 2008. He was a postal clerk. She was a librarian. With their modest means, the couple managed to build, in their tiny New York City apartment, one of the most important contemporary art collections in history.
Meet Herb and Dorothy Vogel, whose shared passion and discipline have defied stereotypes and redefined what it means to be an art collector.
The program is free, but registration is required.
