The Bainbridge Island Downtown Association has hired Jerri Lane as the nonprofit’s new executive director.

Lane replaces Andie Mackin, who recently joined the Downtown Seattle Association.

Lane most recently served as senior vice president of marketing at Visit Seattle.

“I could not be more excited to live and work on this beautiful island,” Lane said. “I look forward to working with all the stakeholders to further the mission of the organization, so ably served by Andie.”

“I am very pleased to welcome Jerri to the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association team. Her extensive background in destination and hospitality marketing made her an ideal candidate for the position,” said Tim O’Brien, president of the organization’s board of directors.

Lane has been an island resident for two years, and previously served as director of sales and marketing at both the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers and The Westin Seattle.

Since 1998, Bainbridge Island Downtown Association has been recognized as an accredited Main Street Program under the National Trust Main Street Center and the Washington State Main Street Program.
