The Bainbridge Spartan boys swim team got out to a hot start to the season at home against the Bremerton Knights Dec. 5, winning easily 125-31.

Many Spartan swimmers won multiple individual events, including Ryan Rich, Sota Inoue, and Ian Letson. Bainbridge also won all three relay races. The Spartans are coming off a state title win last season and are looking to repeat, a feat the girls’ team recently accomplished.

“I thought we saw some good swims today,” Bainbridge coach Krista Pal said. “It’s a great start, and we definitely have some room to make some good improvements.”
