Free lights giveaway is Saturday in Winslow

Be Seen – Be Safe Day is Saturday, Dec. 13 in Winslow.

From noon to 2 p.m., volunteers of GO! Bainbridge will hand out free lights on Winslow Way and remind walkers and cyclists to be visible during the dark winter days.

Dressed in white with red sashes, they will celebrate in the tradition of St. Lucia who is celebrated in Scandinavia on Dec. 13 as the bringer of Light.
