I’ll be driving using my rules of the road | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

I’ve lived on Bainbridge for 33 years.

And it took me that long to figure out the “real” rules of the road on the Rock.

Tailgate, because that will make me go faster.

Go 35 in a 20; 20 in a 35; and 305 is an arterial, which means go 15.

And never, under any circumstances, use your turn signal.

Now that the state has mandated the use of the turn signal, I would urge everyone to comply.

It’s that thing on the left of your steering wheel, you morons.

And as I’ve gotten older, and even more grouchy, if you tailgate me, bad things are going to happen to you. And that includes going 20.
