Foundation Fighting Blindness is topic of meeting

The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will welcome Mike Hoag as the guest speaker at its next meeting.

Bainbridge VIPs will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Hoag will talk about the nonprofit, Foundation Fighting Blindness, and his organization’s purpose, research, genetic testing and the Seattle Chapter.

As usual, volunteers will be on hand to give one-on-one support for VIP assistive apps on their devices.
