The students of Montessori Country School gather around the school’s Peace Pole to celebrate International Day of Peace with songs and poems. International Day of Peace is celebrated annually on Sept. 21 and “provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.” (internationaldayofpeace.org)
