The Spartans again remained flawless as the Bainbridge High School varsity girls golf team scored a 102-91 win on the road against West Seattle Friday, Sept. 28.

The win, of what Spartan Head Coach Ian Havill called a “tight match,” upped the island squad’s overall season record to 7-0.

Fiesty frosh Grace Frei scored the most points, 29, for the Spartans.

Co-captain Lucy Hanacek scored 28.

Madison Culp managed 24, Hayden Jobes had 21, co-captain Kendall Havill finished at 20 and Anna Kozlosky, 19.

The Spartans next returned home to host Garfield Monday before hitting the road again for the regular season’s penultimate match Thursday against Seattle Prep. They will return to Wing Point Golf & Country Club at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8 for the final scheduled home match.
