Spartan sluggers burn through Franklin 11-1

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High varsity baseball team bested the visitors from Franklin 11-1 Tuesday, April 3.

It was the team’s fourth straight win, nudging their overall season record to 5-3 (4-0 in league play).

The Spartans are ranked third in the Metro standings, behind Ballard (6-1 in conference) and Lakeside (5-1).

The island squad next hit the road to play against Roosevelt, and will return to play at home at 4 p.m. Friday, April 6 against West Seattle.
