Bainbridge clobbers Cleveland for No. 2 baseball win

SEATTLE – The Spartans scored an epic 15-1 win against the Cleveland Eagles on the road in their second baseball outing of the year Friday, March 24 at the Southest Athletic Complex.

The win earned for the Bainbridge High varsity team an undefeated overall record of 2-0, after poor field conditions played havoc with the start of the season. Three of the first five slated games were postpone due to field conditions/weather issues.

The Spartans took another intended home game on the road Monday, March 27 for the same reason, and played North Kitsap on the other side of the bridge.

The BHS team is slated to play at home again at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 against Bishop Blanchet.
