Bainbridge students earn honors at Whitman College

More than a dozen students from Bainbridge Island have achieved academic distinction for fall 2016 at Whitman College.
The super scholars are Elena Arakaki, Megan Gleason, Austin Harper, Ian Hawkins, Georgia Seltzer, Madison Seltzer, Elsa Hager, Katrina Kerrigan, Signe Lindquist, Samuel Reddy, Christy Carley, Benjamin Freedman and Evan Romasco-Kelly.
Academic distinction is awarded after the completion of each semester. This recognition is given to all students who have completed a minimum of 12 credits, passed all credits attempted and have earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Founded in 1882, Whitman College is a highly selective private, independent, co-educational, non-sectarian residential liberal arts and sciences undergraduate college located in Walla Walla.
