The city of Bainbridge Island is developing a new website and is asking locals to submit their favorite photos of the island.

City Manager Doug Schulze has recently asked for photographs from the public of architecture, landscapes, people, activities, nature, and art.  that will be displayed on the redesigned website.

Photographs can be directed to Kate Brown at city hall. The city asks that photos be in the largest file size possible — maximum size is 20 MB — and that they are not filtered or compressed.

Photos can be sent to webmaster@bainbridgewa.gov, or can be dropped off at city hall on a thumb drive.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Aug. 23.
