Record numbers for this year’s Walk MS | Letters | June 24

We’re thrilled to report that the Fifth Annual Bainbridge Island Walk MS was the best attended walk ever and raised a lot of money as well. The island had 501 registered walkers (a 25 percent increase in participation from last year) with $89,348 in contributions.

This strong community support means so much to all the families and individuals living with MS.

We would especially like to recognize our dedicated committee and 32 team captains as well as our generous community sponsors: Island Fitness, Virginia Mason Winslow Clinic, Island Health and Rehab, Ihland Garden Dental, Columbia Bank and Pro-Action IT Management.

Additional thanks to Pegasus Coffee House, Bainbridge Island Barbeque, Bon Bon Confections, Flowering Around, Viking Bank, the BHS custodians, the Bainbridge Island Police Department and the Bainbridge Amateur Radio Club.
