Travelers heading home to Bainbridge Island from Seattle won’t be able to grab a Big Mac or Bacon McDouble while waiting for the ferry to Bainbridge anymore.
The McDonald’s restaurant at the Colman Dock closed for business at the end of the day on Tuesday, Dec. 31.
Washington State Ferries said the McDonald’s had operated at the Colman Dock since 1987.
A WSF spokeswoman said the closure was prompted after McDonald’s made a last-minute decision not to extend its concession contract at the Seattle Ferry Terminal.
