UPDATE | Ferry Tacoma expected at 3 p.m., one-boat service begins

The ferry MV Tacoma is expected to finally arrive from its 12:20 p.m. departure from Seattle into Winslow at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to a shipboard announcement on the disabled vessel.

The Tacoma lost propulsion power as it neared Bainbridge Island just before 1 p.m. The vessel is being brought into Eagle Harbor by the tugboat Lindsey Foss.

Washington State Ferries announced that one-boat service on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route has resumed with a late 2:05 p.m. sailing of the ferry MV Walla Walla from Seattle.

A late 2:55 p.m. departure from Bainbridge to Seattle is expected, according to WSF.
