The Hood Canal Bridge will be closed several times Tuesday, Oct. 18 for maintenance, the Washington State Department of Transportation announced Monday.

The closures are planned between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday, and each opening of the drawspan will close the bridge to vehicle traffic for up to 30 minutes.

During the drawspan openings, Washington State Department of Transportation crews will conduct routine hydraulic work unrelated to the weekend’s storms, officials said.
