Bainbridge ferry route down to one-boat service

The Bainbridge Island-Seattle ferry route was reduced to one-boat service Monday after the ferry M/V Wenatchee was pulled for necessary repairs.
The loss of the Wenatchee prompted the 5:20 a.m. sailing from Bainbridge Island and the 6:10 a.m. sailing.
The route will be on one-boat service with the M/V Tacoma until further notice, according to Washington State Ferries.
The next sailings from Bainbridge are 9:40 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. The next sailings from Seattle are 10:40 a.m., 12:20 p.m. and 2:05 p.m.
WSF said the Wenatchee may have hit debris in the water — likely logs left from the weekend’s stormy weather — and divers were deployed to examine the ship’s propellers.
