Film group gathers to watch MGM musical

The Island Film Group will watch the comedy “An American In Paris” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The group meets every second Wednesday of the month for free films and discussion.

This month’s film is a Turner/MGM musical starring Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron and Oscar Levant. The 1951 film was directed by Vincente Minnelli and runs for 113 minutes.
