The city of Bainbridge Island is reviewing a proposal for a 15-room inn at Pleasant Beach Village.
Charlie Wenzlau of Wenzlau Architects has asked the city for a site plan review of the Resort at Pleasant Beach Village, a proposal for a 15-room inn that would be built at 7879 Pitts Path Lane.
The inn would be built just south of the community pool that’s under construction, and north of the Manor House event center.
The project includes the construction of a main lodge that would have six rooms, plus seven adjacent cottages.
The proposal is subject to state Environmental Policy Act, but city officials expect that the project will not pose significant environmental impacts.
Comments must be submitted by Jan. 16 and can be sent to: City of Bainbridge Island, 280 Madison Ave. North, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 or emailed to pcd@bainbridgewa.gov.
The developer hopes to begin construction on the project in the fall.
