Appleton serves north Kitsap well | Letters | Oct. 29

As concerned and conservative business owners, we support the re-election of Sherry Appleton. While we may not have always agreed on every issue, her experience speaks volumes when it comes to the best interests of our community. Thus, we can ill afford to take chances at this most crucial time in our country and states future.

Sherry puts her heart and soul into representing the people of our area regardless of their political standing. We have learned over the years that practicality always trumps risk. She has proven time and again to be fair minded and persistent whatever the cause. Her knowledge of the processes of the state capitol, gained over some 20 years in and around Olympia, is the kind of hard-nosed, on-the-ground business experience we need.

Her accomplishments are nothing short of monumental these past years. Some major accomplishments include her work on the Marine Science Center, Olympic College, the ferry system as well as her constant support of business, education, individuals and communities – we definitely need her in Olympia now more than ever!
