BHS teacher completes intense curriculum training

Teachers across the country — including one from Bainbridge Island — are back in class fully prepared to teach Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses after completing intense training at Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Throughout the summer, more than 800 teachers attended Core Training at Milwaukee School of Engineering where they learned the complete curriculum for a PLTW course.

Jason Sovick, a mathematics and computer science teacher at Bainbridge High School, completed core training for Computer Science Applications at the nonprofit university based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
