Senior Kasondra Totura poured in 15 points and five rebounds in the Spartans’ 43-36 victory over Chief Sealth Friday. With the win, the Spartans hold onto the top spot in the Metro-Sound division and improved to 3-3 in league competition (5-6 overall).
Bainbridge went ahead 15-6 in the first quarter and never relinquished the lead.
Hannah Depew added seven points and four steals, while Rebecca Sharar grabbed seven rebounds.
Morgan Moniz led the team with seven assists.
Next up, Bainbridge takes on Cleveland at 7 p.m. Wednesday at home.

Boys basketball
Leading 23-22 at the half, the Bainbridge boys couldn’t withstand Chief Sealth’s second-half surge. Chief Sealth (4-1 in the Metro, 5-5 overall) outscored the Spartans (3-3 in the Metro, 6-4 overall) 46-25 in the second half for the 68-48 victory.
Ryan Burris led the team with 17 points and Chris Bell scored 10.
The Spartans host Cleveland at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
