UPDATE | Robinson now leads in race for Kitsap County prosecutor

The race for Kitsap County’s next prosecuting attorney continued to be a nail-biter as more votes were counted in the race Wednesday.
Republican Tina Robinson now leads over incumbent Democrat Russ Hauge.
Robinson is in front by 32 votes, with 29,880 votes to Hauge’s 28,848.
The latest tally was a 246-vote turnaround in the race. Hauge led by 214 votes after initial returns were counted on Election Night.
Robinson currently has 50 percent of the vote, while Hauge stands at 49.9 percent.
A total of 59,728 ballots have been counted in the race.
The next update in the vote totals will be by 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6.
Officials in the Kitsap County Elections Division estimate there will be approximately 21,500 ballots left to count.
