TRAVEL ADVISORY | Maintenance work to delay drivers on Highway 104 Hood Canal Bridge, Highway 3

The Washington State Department of Transportation is asking drivers who travel near the Hood Canal Bridge on Highway 104 to plan ahead for scheduled maintenance-related draw span openings next week.

Transportation maintenance crews also will remove a hazard tree adjacent to Highway 3.

Between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, crews will open the Hood Canal Bridge draw span, and motorists can expect delays up to 30 minutes.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, motorists can expect delays of up to five minutes as they encounter one-way alternating traffic on Highway 3 at Milepost 58.8 near Northeast Evergreen Drive (south of the Hood Canal Bridge) for hazard tree removal.

And between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., Thursday, June 12, crews will open the Hood Canal Bridge draw span and motorists can expect delays up to 30 minutes.
