Spartans rocked by Cleveland 42-21 in year’s second football face off

The Spartans were unable to maintain their impressive halftime lead in Friday’s game against the visitors from Cleveland High and were ultimately bested 42-21.

The visitors scored first, but Bainbridge quickly mounted an offensive answer and then took the lead.

Almost right away in the second half, however, Cleveland came back hard and began their runaway comeback.

This second non-league defeat at home left the Spartans with a 0-2 overall season record.
