Parents or guardians of students in grades 5-12 in the Bainbridge Island School District are invited to an HIV/AIDS curriculum presentation and preview of the instructional materials used.

The meeting is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 in the library at Woodward Middle School.

If a parent/guardian is considering having their child excused from the lesson when it is given in the classroom, attendance at this meeting is mandatory, as stipulated in state law.
