Islanders earn degrees at Linfield

Four students from Bainbridge Island have been awarded bachelor’s degrees at Linfield College.

The new graduates are:

Jeff W. Laws, bachelor of arts degree in political science;

Alexandra R. McCarrel, bachelor of science degree in environmental studies – science (magna cum laude);

Mikhale McCarrel, bachelor of science degree in health education; and Emma L. Vukic, bachelor of science degree in mathematics.

A total of 637 candidates for degrees were presented at the Linfield College commencement exercises in McMinnville, Oregon on Sunday, May 29.
