Bainbridge Chorale gives musical tour from ‘Baroque to Broadway’

Bainbridge Chorale will present the concert “Baroque to Broadway – Songs from the Steeple to the Stage” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13, and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church.

Join Bainbridge Chorale for a musical tour of some of the most appealing and entertaining works from the Baroque period through the best of Broadway.

The concert will begin in the 17th century with “Nun Danket Alle Gott” by Johann Pachelbel and continue through the classical and romantic eras with works by Beethoven and Brahms. In the second half of the program, the audience will be treated to tunes from the great musicals of the late 20th and early 21st century, including selections from “Newsies,” “Cats,” “Les Misérables,” “Phantom of the Opera” and “Wicked.”
