Liveaboard event will be a celebration | Letters | Dec. 10

Thank you for your coverage of the anchor-out liveaboard community in Eagle Harbor and the politics affecting its future.

For those of us who value this neighborhood – as I do – your attention is greatly appreciated.

Your readers are cordially invited to celebrate the history and culture of our floating neighbors on Wednesday Dec. 15 from 2-5 p.m. The houseboat Wicca will be relocated to the end of the city dock, and all are invited to come aboard, drink cider, listen to sea shanties, and share stories with Harbor residents.

Evictions are scheduled for Dec. 15 and it’s anybody’s guess how the state regulators will proceed – but this seems like a particularly good time to show up by the water and share your holiday wishes.
