To the editor:

It is with much excitement and anticipation that Ken and I take the next step in our lives together and retire! Winslow Paint Company has been sold to Ray and Diane Donahue of Peninsula Paint Company and they have taken over on Friday, June 1.

We thank so many of you who have supported us in the paint store and prior to that at the Winslow Hardware and Mercantile which closed in 2005.

We are happy to say that you will continue to see all of our paint store employees at work under the new Peninsula Paint Company banner.

We have helped to bring new color to your lives for the past 10½ years and now we will seek out new ways to bring color to our lives through travel and other new experiences!
