With planning set to begin for the new Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Medical Center, Virginia Mason officials are inviting island residents and others to complete a brief online survey about medical and customer services that are most important to them.

It takes about 60 seconds to complete the two-question survey, and Virginia Mason officials said responses will be confidential and useful in planning their new 30,000-square-foot medical center in the Wintergreen Walk development at High School Road and Highway 305. The expanded facility is scheduled to open in 2018.
“One of our top priorities while designing the facility is to incorporate input from families who cherish our island community and call this region home,” said Dr. Catherine Edwards, section head at Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Medical Center and an island resident.
“We want our new medical center to meet the current needs of our patients and team, as well as lend us the flexibility to adjust or expand our services as our community’s needs change in the future,” she said.
Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Medical Center has served the community for more than 25 years at its current location on Winslow Way. Learn more at www.virginiamason.org/Bainbridge.
