Island needs a place where dogs can romp | Letters | July 3

The thought of having a place for dogs to run off-leash is exciting.

On trails such as Grand Forest or Gazzam Lake, hikers and runners find it annoying to have dogs loose on the trail. I can’t blame them.

But dogs need to run, and there really should be a place on the island to let them go.

Eagledale Park is not a big enough and it’s not much more exciting than a dog’s back yard. Let us have one park where we can let the dogs have fun and get real exercise.
