2 dead after single-vehicle collision in SK

Two people are dead following a single-vehicle collision in the 5000 block of SE Burley Olalla road between Shady Glen and Fagerud Road in South Kitsap Nov. 9.

Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies responded around 8:30 p.m. and discovered the vehicle engulfed in flames. After extinguishing the fire, two occupants were located deceased in the vehicle. A dog in the car was also killed, per KCSO.

Evidence indicated the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve to the left. The vehicle left the roadway, striking numerous trees, and burst into flames.
