The day kicked off with the Bainbridge Youth Services fun run – with both a 5k and 1k event.
Visitors appreciated restored, rare and unique vehicles during the car show.
Cars from as far back as 1930 were on display for visitors.
Nearly every car at the car show had a striking paint job.
Staff members of the Bainbridge Historical Society dressed up as one-room schoolhouses and performed a quick dance during the parade.
The Bainbridge drill team showed off their moves and outfits with a dance at the corner of Winslow and Madison.
The Bainbridge High School cheerleading team led about a dozen youth sports teams and clubs in the parade.
The Bainbridge gymnastics team performed handsprings, flips and pommel horse maneuvers for onlookers at the parade.
The Bainbridge Band Boosters played covers of pop songs and classic favorites during the Grand Old Fourth Parade.
The Bainbridge roller hockey team showed up in full gear — including roller skates.
Boy Scout Troop 4496 handed out candy and rode their bikes in the parade.
The Bainbridge Sailing Center hosted a build-your-own boat station for kids with wooden boats, paint and string.
Visitors enjoyed patriotic face painting.
Bainbridge Aquatics held a dunk tank fundraiser, with members of the team on the block.
A dad and his son enjoyed the pony rides.
Putt-putt golf was a fun challenge — obstacles included a Rolling Stones-style mouth, a ferry, a lighthouse, a cannon and more.
