A number of children turned zucchinis into racing vehicles at the Kids Discovery Museum on Bainbridge Island Oct. 6.

The kids were making them to compete in the Great Zucchini Race the next day in Town Square.

Young people from elementary to high school took advantage of the offer to learn the art of zucchini making at KidDiMu.
