Parents, teachers and kids all over Bainbridge Island were excited for summer to begin as the 2021-22 school year came to an end June 16. Ordway Elementary School Principal Debra Dunn wished her students a fond farewell and said, “Let the wild rumpus begin!” At noon, the No-More-School-A-Palooza festival for middle and high school youth was presented by Bainbridge Youth Services at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center. It included a mobile skate park, game booths, music, a taco truck, art booths and a highly popular drench your teachers event.
