Spartan streak continues in boys golf

It was the sixth straight win for the Bainbridge High School varsity boys golf team as they scored an impressive 129-86 win over Eastside Catholic Sept. 30.

The Spartans have not lost a match since their debut outing against O’Dea on Sept. 9.

The win upped the BHS duffers’ overall season record to 6-1, earning them the No. 2 spot in the Metro League standings, behind only O’Dea (7-0).

Against EC, the top Spartan scorer was Ben Chapman, who shot 39.

Jasiah George shot 40; Parker Loverich, 41; Nicholas Zambrano, 42; Zachary Cooper, 43; Owen Rector, 44; and Taylor Bjur finished at 48.
