The Bainbridge Public Library will host a visit in August from the BurkeMobile, the Burke Museum’s traveling program that museum brings to areas outside its Seattle base.

The BurkeMobile will bring “The Age of Dinosaurs” to the island at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7. The program is for young ones in grades pre-K through second.

What was the world like millions of years ago? Participants can become a paleontologist and discover what life was like when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Friend, foe or feast? Kids can sort fossils and learn how to spot which are from dinos (and which ones which aren’t) by comparing differences between dinosaurs and other animals from the Mesozoic Era.

The free program is presented by Kistap Regional Library. For more information, and to register, call 206-842-4162 or visit www.KRL.org.
