Luciano Marano | Bainbridge Island Review - Spartan sophomore Owen McWilliam batted in a home run, the first of the year, during the Bainbridge High School varsity baseball team’s debut outing at home Saturday, March 9. The island squad scored a 4-0 win against Gig Harbor.

The Bainbridge High School varsity baseball team left the field on the high side of a shutout, claiming a win in their first outing of the season at home against Gig Harbor Saturday, March 9.

The final score was 4-0.

The Spartans will next play at home at 4 p.m. Friday, March 15 against Mercer Island.
