Children’s March for Peace and Kindness planned for Monday

The second annual Children’s March for Peace and Kindness is planned for Monday, Jan. 21.

Between 10:30 to 11:15 a.m., children, their families, and community members are invited to gather at the Bainbridge Public Library to write letters to the leaders of their choosing, asking them to work for peace or thanking them for the work they are already doing.

At 11:15 a.m., the group will march to the Winslow post office to mail the letters. Islanders are encouraged to bring signs, banners and friends.
