Spartans mauled by WS Wildcats in girls, boys b-ball

Both the Bainbridge girls and boys varsity basketball teams trekked home with one more loss on their respective records Friday, Dec. 14, when the Spartans hit the road to play the West Seattle Wildcats.

First, the Bainbridge High School varsity girls squad was defeated 88-71, dropping their overall season record to 3-6 (1-4 in league).

Then, the boys were likewise licked 51-47, earning them an overall season record of 3-5 (1-4 in league).

A dozen games remain on the Spartan season schedule, with both teams next slated to return home to play Seattle Prep on Tuesday (boys) and Wednesday (girls).

Both squads will play again at Paski Gymnasium Friday, Dec. 21 against Franklin, the girls at 7 and the boys at 8:30 p.m.
