Holiday celebration returns to Winslow Saturday

Winter Wonderland returns to Waterfront Park for its second year this weekend.
The family-friendly event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.
Winter Wonderland will include light features, face painting, a snow feature, holiday present crafts, gift bag decorating, a visit from Santa Claus, cider and cookies, ice sculptures, “S’mores with the Squad” and reindeer.
The free event, sponsored by Puget Sound Energy, is a partnership between Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District, the city of Bainbridge Island, the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce and the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association.
