Olympian is SWERV guest speaker at this week’s meeting

All women are invited to attend Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views to hear the inspirational message of Olympic silver medalist Emily Silver at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11 at Bainbridge Island Filipino-American Hall.

Silver began her swimming career at 8 with the Bainbridge Island Swim Club. After setting a string of local and college records, she swam for the 2008 Olympics team only five weeks after breaking her hand in the trials. She will share her story of fulfilling her lifelong Olympic dreams through using positive self-talk and visualization. She’ll also bring her silver medal to share.
