Tides are too tough for BHS

BAINBRIDGE – Gig Harbor proved to be too deep for the Spartans.

The Tides ran strong against the Spartans last week, as Gig Harbor won 14-2 in girls varsity water polo at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center.

Gig Harbor scored in rapid succession in the first half, and built an insurmountable 9-0 lead by halftime.

The Spartans’ only offense came from Frances Weller, who scored twice for BHS in the matchup.
