Disc golf gets a look by Bainbridge parks board

Bainbridge park officials will review the proposed design for a disc golf course at Battle Point Park this week.

The board of the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at Strawberry Hill Center.

The board will also honor the aquatic center staff at next week’s meeting.

Also on the agenda, a presentation on teen programs and a resolution to surplus the teen center building.

Parks officials have been told by the Bainbridge Island School District that the park district is losing its space for the teen center on the Bainbridge High campus due to the upcoming project to build a new 100 Building at BHS.

The district has until summer to vacate the property.
