Bainbridge school unions get new contracts

New three-year contracts for district principals and teachers were approved by the Bainbridge Island School Board last week.

The board, including all five directors, voted unanimously to accept the two agreements brokered by the district with union representatives from the Bainbridge Island Educational Association and the group for island administrators.

The contracts were approved on Thursday, Sept. 29.
