Published 10:58 am Saturday, October 8, 2016

All women are invited to attend Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views for the program “Climate Change in the Space Age, an Update” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Gary Lagerloef, an oceanographer and co-founder of Earth and Space Research, will review the latest information gleaned in his work with NASA from satellites studying the interactions of the planet’s climate, ocean circulation and water cycle.

He will also summarize recent forecasts of the environmental impacts of climate change in the Puget Sound region during the coming century (2015 was the warmest year yet).

SWERV meets at Filipino American Hall, 7566 High School Road.
